If you're able to extend your trip, consider spending some time in Austin!
In the heart of Austin is the Ann and Roy Butler Hike-and-Bike Trail at Lady Bird Lake, a lush, urban path that meanders along the water’s edge and passes by skyscrapers, neighborhoods, ball fields, and cultural attractions.
With more than 2.6 million visits a year, the 10-mile trail is Austin’s most recognized and popular recreational area. The Ann and Roy Butler Hike-and-Bike Trail, named for a former Austin mayor and his wife, is a natural gem in the heart of the Texas capital.
Within Zilker Park's 358 acres lies one of the crown jewels of Austin: Barton Springs Pool. The pool itself measures three acres in size, and is fed from underground springs with an average temperature of 68-70 degrees, ideal for year-round swimming.
Breakfast tacos are essential in Austin, and Veracruz All Natural has some of the best. Try the migas taco, with fluffy eggs, avocado, and tortilla chips.
One of our favorite places to get BBQ in town! In our humble opinion, it's just as good as some of the super hyped places that you have to wait hours in line for. It rarely has a wait, and has fantastic brisket and sides (we recommend the brussels sprouts, mac and cheese, and corn casserole)!
