8 years ago, Stephanie and Anthony met through mutual friends at the University of Illinois. At the end of freshman year, Anthony had asked Stephanie to be his date to one of his fraternity’s date events and Stephanie agreed to join him! Determined not to share a kiss with her “little Italian friend,” Stephanie made a point to stay sober that night. Once the night ended, Stephanie had so much fun with Anthony that she texted him that night asking him to go on a date event with her! After 3 long days of radio silence, a notification popped up on her phone- a reply from Anthony! It contained the loaded question: “have you seen my wallet?” Anthony did not agree to go as Stephanie’s date for this particular event, but she decided to give him another chance a few months down the line- and she is SO happy that she did. Through the course of college they went to 10+ events together. The rest is history!

Over the past 8 years, we have celebrated countless milestones side by side, cherished time with friends and family, and even shared adventures across the globe (only losing one passport along the way)—each moment bringing us closer to this next exciting chapter!
