Cameron and I met in high school. We were good friends but if anyone knows Cameron you know how shy he can be. He was always very shy around me in high school. At the time I had no idea he was even Interested in me. We graduated high school and we were reconnected through a mutual friend. At the time I thought to myself, Man I haven’t seen him in forever! He asked me on a date to the movies! I said yes and I was so nervous and when we first saw each other again I thought wow he looks so much different, he was even more handsome than he was high school. I got into his truck and I was so nervous all I could think to say is wow, you have a nice truck, which broke the ice from there! After our first date we were together almost every day after that. We discovered we both love the same things! Hunting and fishing together is what makes us complete! We love spending time together doing what we love! I knew after the first couple months together that this man was my person! He is the most generous, caring and thoughtful man I know. He goes above and beyond to make sure that everyone around him is ok! Watching him be the way he is around his family and mother really showed me how wonderful of a man he truly is! He puts so much thought and love into every aspect of his life with me! I waited for the day he proposed for what seemed like a lifetime! I knew this moment would be one of a kind and it truly was. He asked me while we were doing what we love the most! FISHING! We love our boat and love fishing together at our family lake house and he made it very special. That day was by far the best day of my life! Knowing he chose me to be his person! Our journey is just beginning and we are so blessed to have each other.
