It all started with a text! On July 15th, 2022, Tom’s brother’s girlfriend Karly reached out to Stephanie, a gym buddy, letting her know she’s been wanting to set her up with her boyfriend’s brother for a while. She asked Can I give him your number?. Stephanie bravely responded with, Hi!! I'm totally open to it. The next morning on July 16th, 2022, Tom texted Stephanie, Hey Stephanie, this is Karly's boyfriend's brother, Tom. Figured it's not too early to reach out now lol. Not very smooth on his part, but his awkward, gruff charm stole away Stephanie’s defenses… After a few days of texting, they finally met at a coffee shop. Sweet Melissa's, the purest of Hallmark movie date destinations. And what began as a 3 hour date became 3 dates. And then 3 dates turned into 3 years. 3 years of life spent together, laughing and growing and changing for the better. It hasn’t always been easy, but it has been worth it. She’s worth it, and he’s the lucky one.
