Our Story

Where to even begin…

Meeting your soulmate at 12 years old seems crazy, yet meeting in the 7th grade at Shafer Middle School was where it all started. Our last period classes were across the hall from each other.

Our first actual conversation started on MySpace, and then it lead to instant messaging each other every night. We’d exchange phone numbers and talk on the phone every night. Some mornings we’d get up for school, our phones still on the line with each other from falling asleep on the phone. Then on the weekends, Austin would walk or ride his bike 3 miles to hangout with Steph. They had so much fun together in 7th and 8th grade.

In 9th grade, Steph went to a different high school as Austin, so their relationship changed a little. They were both busy playing basketball for their schools, didn’t see each other every day anymore, and drifted a little bit.

However, in 10th grade, Steph transferred back to Bensalem. Steph walked into her first period gym class and saw Austin sitting on the bleachers. They’d start talking more, texting again, and see each other almost every day. The feelings were clearly still there for each other.

In 11th grade, they sat next to each other in trigonometry class and couldn’t get enough of being around each other.

12th grade was so special - Steph and Austin went to senior prom together and Disney World. Experiences that they wouldn’t have wanted to share with anyone else.

Steph went to Penn State freshman year of college, and Austin went to Bloomsburg. Austin would come on the weekends to visit Steph, but then end up staying more days than expected, and go back to Bloomsburg days later, hahaha.

Austin transferred to Brynn Athyn sophomore year to play basketball and study biology. Steph was still at Penn State, which she’d then transfer to Holy Family to study Nursing. Steph would look forward to the nights she’d be done class or clinical and then go watch Austin play basketball. They’d spend their weekday nights staying up until 3 a.m. studying, making ellios pizza, and watching the Sixers and then Golden State.

And it’s all lead us to where we are today - in the most fun and loving relationship with each other.

The relationship we both have developed with each other’s family and friends is so incredible. The vacations, holidays, parties, shore weekends, and even just relaxed hangouts always give us the best memories.

The love and bond we share is so special. Two kids that fell in love, and now get to celebrate their love on 6/6 with all of their favorite people in the world. We cannot wait for our day! ❤️
