Hi everyone!!! We’re so excited to celebrate with you but since most of you are not familiar with the area, we’ll give you a little rundown.   DFW will most likely be your best bet for flying in/out of Texas. It is a nice airport and relatively easy to manage inside. Driving outside is a little confusing due to construction but just follow the signs and you’ll be fine. Palmer is a small town in Texas. The closest big town/city is Waxahachie (about 20 mins from the venue). There are many hotels, restaurants, and things to do in the area (see other tabs for recommendations, mind you not all recommendations have been sampled so we apologize in advance if somewhere isn’t fun or tasty)!  We want our wedding to consist of lots of dancing, singing, drinking, and socializing (duh), so feel free to bring comfy shoes or a change of clothes for the reception (especially guys, if you want to wear/bring a short sleeve shirt or shorts, go for it). And ladies there is some grass/dirt to walk on so just be mindful with your shoes/heels. It will be hot so dress accordingly :)

<p>Assuming y’all mostly know our story, but here it is!We met in July of 2023 at St. Joseph Hospital in Orange, CA while Stephanie was on a travel nursing contract. We quickly hit it off and Colin ended up asking Stephanie out on a date two days later. We continued to get to know each other over the following days and soon became inseparable (like they say, “when ya know, ya know”). Since meeting, we have enjoyed many Disney trips, pool days, dog walks, hikes, movies, river trips, concerts, breweries, and coffee dates. In June 2024, we decided we wanted a change of scenery and moved to Azle (pronounced like Hazel without the “H”), Texas. We loved being close to some family and we loved the house we rented (the dogs loved the yard and the cats loved having their own “cat room”) but, early 2025, we again decided we wanted a change of pace. With that, we moved to Wilmington, North Carolina with our three dogs (Opie, Dixie, and Hank) and two cats (Houdini and Rella) in May of 2025. Here we have enjoyed lots of pool and beach days, paddle boarding, hiking, yoga, and more brewery and coffee visits! If you’ve made it this far in the story, the pattern continues! In May 2026, we decided to move back to California where it all began! We’re excited to explore our new area and continue making lifelong memories. We are so excited to celebrate our love and are looking forward to a lifetime of memories!</p>

The airport is about an hour from the venue/hotels that we have blocks at. There are numerous rental car agencies at the airport. Check in July 10th and check out the 12th. 

Dallas-Fort Worth Airport (DFW)

This airport is generally more expensive, but we wanted to give the option. It is about 50 mins from the venue/hotels we have blocks at. Check in July 10th and check out the 12th. 

Dallas Love Field (DAL)

The hotel is roughly 15 minutes from the venue. Check in July 10th and check out the 12th.
