Everything all began because Nicholas’s nephew Colton, and Stephanie’s son Daniel, became best friends in their classroom together. Colton’s mother, Ashley and Stephanie coincidentally both worked at Darrough Chapel. Stephanie was a paraprofessional at Darrough Chapel and was putting the chairs up in her classroom at the end of the day when she first initiated conversation with Ashley, while Ashley was in the room doing custodial tasks. They reminisced a time when Colton came to Danny’s birthday party and talked about how their boys were really good friends. Ashley and Stephanie soon became friends too. Ashley invited Stephanie out to various family functions such as her Halloween party and to her family’s pool during summer. However, Stephanie and Nick never had any casual conversation through his sister Ashley.



 Stephanie was a single boy mom of three. All of her boys were in baseball. One beautiful spring day (May 2021) she decided to take the boys to prior known as The Kokomo Raceway to practice their batting, also to enjoy the go karts. She looked behind her and saw Nick meet eyes with her. She recognized Bella, Ashley’s daughter, also Nick even though they never spoke before. Nick also had his little girl at the time, whom is now a beautiful teenager, Aryanna. Stephanie waved to Nick. Nick immediately exchanged a wave and then struck up a small conversation. Shortly after, Nick, Stephanie, and their kids both were in line next to each other for the go karts. Nick was very friendly and gave Stephanie a spare ticket because he told her it would be more fun for her boys if their mom raced in the go karts too. Nick and Stephanie were then separated into different riding groups.



Later that night Nick reached out to Stephanie via Facebook messenger and asked her to go on a date the following Saturday with him at Outbback Steakhouse. She said that she’d love to go! Ashley approved too of course. ♥️ Nick and Stephanie dated for several months; they really liked each other, but it wasn’t serious for a while.



Early the following Fall of 2021 Stephanie and her boys very tragically lost their home and everything they owned to a fire. Nick stepped up as a man and as a friend for Stephanie and was there for her. He shortly after met the boys, and Stephanie loved how kind he was to them. Nick and Stephanie started to become inseparable. October 19th 2021 is the day the two became official.



The couple both worked hard on their personal growth over the first year and always will continue to. Nick and Stephanie experienced many life events already that very easily could’ve torn them apart. To name a few, they lost a baby, Nick lost his father, the couple and Stephanie’s boys were displaced from their home for months from water damage/which created mold and everything had to be gutted and removed. They’re endlessly busy and tired; they share the most precious newborn baby girl together. But there’s always so much infinite love for each other, without any doubt.



May 3, 2023 Nick asked Stephanie to marry him in Jamaica when their beautiful blended family went on a cruise. 💍 A spare ticket from that day at the Raceway is displayed in a shadow box in Nick and Stephanie’s room. Nick treasured the ticket as a keepsake from the first day they spoke. October 19th, 2024, their wedding day, marks 3 official years together, but is the start of their forever.
