Stephanie and Matt both grew up in Cincinnati – Stephanie on the East side and Matt on the West side.

We did not cross paths until 2024, when we went on a first date at MadTree. We bonded immediately and decided on a second date at Hoppin Vines. We must have been giving off good vibes given that a couple next to us asked us how long we’ve been married. The date went so well that we decided to sit in the parking lot until 4am talking and listening to music. Neither of us would say it at the time, but we knew we fell in love and have been inseparable since.

In the proceeding weeks and months, we bonded over our loves for being active, exploring the city, traveling across the country, and of course, our dogs! We also experienced two other instances of complete strangers asking us if we were married – perhaps the universe was trying to tell us something! We shared a profound connection and love for being with each other. We knew very quickly that we wanted to spend the rest of our lives together.

The past year has been filled with love, happiness, and endless memories with our friends and families.

While on a trip to Savannah, we took the next step in our journey together. In front of a beautiful fountain in Lafayette Square, Matt got down on one knee and asked Stephanie to marry him.

As we prepare to embark on this next chapter together, we cannot wait to share our wedding day with all of our closest friends and family who have supported us throughout our journey.
