What's the history behind the Burrough's Home?
Built in 1901, this Georgian Revival-style mansion was the scene of many high society parties of Fort Myers’ elite residents. The Burroughs Home & Gardens, located in the vibrant River District of downtown Fort Myers, is the only home of its time still standing in its original location and open to the public. The Burroughs family would often host the biggest parties with an array of famous Americans, from Thomas Edison, Henry Ford, Harvey Firestone, and Dr. Alexis Carrel to aviator Charles Lindbergh in attendance.

Can I bring my kid(s)?
We love your little ones. However, due to the location of our wedding being along a river with no fence or barrier between the seawall and water, we have decided, out of caution, to make this an 18+ event. We appreciate you making arrangements for child care ahead of time so you can relax and celebrate our day with us.
Can I bring a plus one?
Due to limited venue space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally listed on your invitation. If no guest name or "and guest" is listed on your invitation, we have to unfortunately decline your request for a plus one. If you received an "and guest," please limit yourself to one guest only.
What is the dress code?
We'd love for you to dress up with us. The bride and groom request guests follow a cocktail attire dress code. Please, no jeans.
Is there parking available at the wedding venue?
Parking will be located directly across the street behind the Langford-Kingston Home (1522 Hough Street, Fort Myers, FL). Please use the crosswalk and exercise caution when crossing the street to the venue.
