Q + A

What is the dress code?

I'm sure most of you know, we are not picky, however we would love to see everyone in business casual. No jeans or t-shirts please!

What date should I RSVP by?

Please RSVP by May 15th.

Where should I stay?

Please see the travel tab for more information about our hotel block!

Will there be transportation provided?

We are not providing transportation to the venue, however we will provide end of night services. There will be a shuttle to the hotel block (Fairfield Inn & Suites Denver Southwest/Lakewood) departing the venue at 7:30 pm and 9 pm. If you plan to use this service, please respond to the question when you RSVP so we can get an accurate headcount. There is no cell phone reception at the venue so you will NOT be able to call an Uber.

Where is the reception?

The ceremony and reception are both on site at Mountain View Ranch.

What dates should I fly in/out?

We have secured a hotel block for Saturday, June 14 to Tuesday, June 17. We'd suggest those dates unless you'd like to make a vacation out of your trip. We will be available for the entire week of the wedding to spend time with all of our friends and family!

What airport should I fly in to?

If you plan on staying in the hotel block, we'd suggest Denver International. If you are staying in or near Colorado Springs, we do have a small airport here that is very easy to get in and out of. The Denver airport is likely cheaper, however. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to reach out to either of us!

What will the weather be like?

Mid-June in Colorado is a wonderful time of year! The wedding venue is located at approximately 8000 feet elevation, so the temperatures tend to be a bit cooler, however the sun can be brutal. We suggest bringing layers for when the sun goes down. We also suggest sunscreen! The ceremony will be outdoors and the reception will be indoor/outdoor.

What about the altitude?

We are so glad you asked! Most of you are coming from sea level, so 8000 ft may be a big change. First, the reason we set up the hotel block to start on Saturday is so our guests can get in and start to acclimate to the altitude. Denver is at 5280 ft and Colorado Springs is about 6000 ft. The more time you are here, the more acclimatized you'll be. We suggest starting to hydrate more about a week before coming out and plan to continue hydrating A LOT when you get here. Take it easy, drink lots of water, eat smaller, more frequent meals, maybe even pack some electrolyte packets if you have them!

Can I bring a plus one?

There will be no plus ones unless previously discussed.

Do you have a wedding hashtag?

Why, yes, we do! #CheersToTheChandleys

Are children invited to the wedding?

While we adore children, we've opted for an adults-only affair to allow everyone to relax and enjoy the celebration. There will be a few children from the family, however we have limited this to a select few. We hope you understand! If you have any concerns or special circumstances, please don't hesitate to contact us directly to discuss further.
