Our Wedding

How We Met. Stephany and Eric met in the summer of 2013. After a bit of back and forth, they exchanged phone numbers and had their first chat while Stephany struggled to put a bike rack on her car (she was determined to become an avid bike rider but that didn't last too long). They continued to talk and text regularly and on July 20th, went on their first date. Soon after, they began a great friendship, which ultimately led to them developing feelings for each other. On November 23rd, they had their first kiss and made things "official" soon after. The Proposal.Stephany and Eric knew they wanted to spend their lives together very early on but it wasn't until July 1, 2016, that Eric decided to pop the question. Eric had been thinking about asking Stephany to marry him for for months but he really wanted the proposal to be special. That evening, after Stephany came home from work, Eric invited her out for an early birthday dinner, just the two of them - the next day they would be jumping on a plane for a weeklong vacation with family in Riviera Maya, Mexico. Eric took Stephany to their favorite restaurant - Sardinia - on the beach. After having a delicious dinner, he asked her to take a stroll with him to the park facing the bay. Unbeknownst to Stephany, Eric had plans to pop the question. As they stood under the starlit night sky, watching the sailboats on the water, Eric got down on one knee and asked Stephany to spend the rest of her life with him. With tears of joy and happiness in her eyes, Stephany said YES!

Dear Friends &amp; Family,First off, we'd like to say that your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for, but we understand that it may not be feasible for everyone. The time, effort and expense of traveling to be with us is something we deeply appreciate in our hearts, and we are so thrilled that we will be able to celebrate this happy occasion with you. While we have been blessed to have a lot of the "essential" home items that a newly engaged couple needs, we hope you find this registry as a way to help us make our perfect honeymoon come true! While Eric and I have taken many exciting trips together, we are very much looking forward to our first real adventure as HUSBAND &amp; WIFE. For those of you who are attending our wedding, we are so grateful that you are making the trip to Manuel Antonio, Quepos, Costa Rica for our wedding celebration. Please keep in mind that you will need to fly into San Jose, Costa Rica. From there you have many options! Most hotels in Manuel Antonio, Quepos can arrange transportation from San Jose to Manuel Antonio, Quepos, whether you want to fly or use ground transportation.There are also commercial flights between San Jose to Quepos and they are approximately a 25-minute flight. Flights can be booked directly at Nature Air (<a href="http://www.natureair.com/quepos-flights.html" target="_blank">Nature Air Flights</a>) or through Sansa Air (<a href="http://www.flysansa.com/en/destinations/san-jose" target="_blank">Sansa Air Flights</a>). Once in Quepos, most hotels and/or resorts can arrange for ground transportation from the Quepos airport to Manuel Antonio.Rental cars are also available at the San Jose airport. Please note that if you are not familiar with the roads in Costa Rica, self-driving to Manuel Antonio may take 3+ hours.
