Before we started dating, our shared passion for sports (such as ultimate frisbee and capture the flag) brought us together as good friends. Seth and I were both triple jumpers in college, but also bonded over our love of music.

After many walks, conversations over coffee, and track workouts together, Seth and I decided to start officially dating each other!

Seth came to visit me while I was working on staff at Rocky Mountain Mennonite Camp! I had been away from him for a couple of months and was very happy to do some hiking!

We started our senior year at Bethel College together!

We took a LONG roadtrip to visit Seth's sister and brother-in-law, Alli and Ben Rudeen Krieder, in Princeton, NJ. This trip was a blast-- we got to tour Princeton and New York City, see a Billy Joel concert, and make our way down to Virginia to attend a wedding.

My friends and I threw a joint birthday party for Seth and his friend, Eli, in our mod. I baked Seth a cherry pie to share with our friends.

Seth proposed to me! Oddly enough, I did not see it coming at all. I had just played in a flag football game, which his family had come down to watch, and we had decided to go on a date afterward. This date included a walk (during which he proposed), and a dinner at the "Hub" in Moundridge (at which our whole families were waiting to eat with us, also).

This was the afterparty of our engagement, held at the Agape House on Bethel's campus. Many friends came out to congratulate us-- a special end to a very special day!

We graduated! We had an awesome joint graduation party which many family members and friends attended.

We adopted our sweet puppy, Griswold.
