Steve and Joetta first crossed paths in 1968 at Gods Bible School, where a deep and lasting friendship began to blossom. After high school, life’s journey took them on separate paths, each living fulfilling lives under God’s watchful eye.


Steve married his high school sweetheart , Joanna, and together they were blessed with three beautiful daughters. Joetta also found love and marriage and was blessed with three amazing sons and a beautiful daughter.


Years passed, and God’s plan unfolded in ways they could never have anticipated. After Joanna’s passing and a devastating fire that consumed Steve’s family home of 23 years, Joetta heard the heartbreaking news about her long-lost friend. Moved by compassion and guided by God’s spirit, she reached out to offer her condolences. This simple act of kindness rekindled their old friendship, illuminating God’s perfect timing in their lives.


From the ashes of tragedy, God brought forth a new and beautiful chapter. Today, we celebrate God’s love and His divine blessing in bringing Joetta and Steve together when they needed each other most. We honor and glorify God for transforming a friendship into a magnificent love story, showcasing His boundless grace and perfect plan.
