Stephen and Savannah first met 18 years ago at On Goal Soccer Camp in Milford, Ohio. Little did they know that On Goal Soccer would have a huge impact on their relationship. Stephen and Savannah grew up playing Club Soccer through On Goal all the way through High School. Not to mention, they were also in the same class in their homeschool co-op for a couple of years. As you can assume, Stephen and Savannah spent a lot of time together growing up, and they became great friends. Unbeknownst to them, they also had crushes on each other. During the latter years of high school and early years of college, Stephen and Savannah saw each other less but still thought the world of each other and highly valued their friendship. It wasn't until the summer before their senior year of college, while coaching for On Goal Soccer Camps that they started to look at each other differently. Maybe, just maybe, they liked each other more than friends. Sure enough, the night of the last day of On Goal Soccer Camps Stephen asked Savannah out on their first official date. A couple days later, they were an official couple. Stephen and Savannah dated for a year and five months, before Stephen got on his knee on January 12th (Savannah's birthday) at his family's property. The location where he proposed will be the same location for the wedding ceremony.
