She messaged me on Instagram when I was in the world's largest beard club. I messaged back. She was absolutely intriguing. We started talking all the time.

She came to Phoenix from Austin and went with me to Sedona. I thought she was going to be a catfish. However, it was an amazing weekend, and it even snowed. We stayed at a little Airbnb on the west side of Sedona in a small cabin near the red rocks with one of the best porches I've ever sat on in my life. I showed her West Fork Trail and that night it got so cold that we had to turn the heater on in the cabin but we couldn't figure out how and had to call the owner to come over. She went home and we kept talking.

Then I went to Austin from Phoenix. We stayed in a bewitched treehouse. I got Texas barbecue for the first time at Salt Lick and we cruised around all weekend in a Jeep. We ghost hunted the Driskill Hotel on 6th Street in Austin during COVID and had nearly the whole place to ourselves. We captured an AMAZING ghost picture. Then I went home and we kept talking.

Eventually I decided to take the leap and move to Austin so I could see her face in person every day. It was one of the best decisions I've ever made.

We've spent nearly every minute together since. We raise our dogs and cats together. We fall asleep and wake up together. Eat together and laugh together. Together. She can be herself and I can be myself and I love herself completely and she loves myself. I'll scream her name into the wind until they take the rings from my fingers and the keys to my house in every universe we have yet to meet.

We watch wrestling together. She lets me eat as many White Castles I want. We fall asleep to the ID channel every night and she lets me sleep in a wind tunnel. She's ok with me being a peanut butter junkie and she buys me little kid pickle snack cups for my lunch. Sometimes she'll just lean over to me and say something like "hey the next time we make pizza would you want something like a shrimp Alfredo pizza?", and I fall in love with her every time she says things like that to me. She lets me take pictures all the time we go anywhere. She lets my love of porches flourish and never makes fun of me when I talk about ancient aliens. She makes me salted chocolate chip cookies. She asks me if I'm okay and not just to hear her own voice asking it. Together. I want together forever.

I'm the luckiest man on Earth. She saved my life. She shook me and said I love you and I was free. You don't even want me to get started on how amazing I think this woman is. I could go on and on but anybody who knows Stephanie already knows. She's just plain wonderful. An angel flying too close to the ground.

I'm sure she's got her own story to tell but she doesn't have the app on her phone and thus cannot update this section of the website. I guess you're just going to have to take my word for it on how it went down.
