Stetson and Brooklyn have known one another since seventh grade at Ramsey Junior High School. As some of you may know, Stetson was Brooklyn's first ever crush! However, the two did not really get to know each other until ninth grade in geometry class where they were assigned seats next to each other. During this time, they started talking more since both had plans to attend Northside High School after leaving junior high.

During their first semester at Northside, Stetson and Brooklyn would walk past one another on their way to lunch and class, but it wasn't until the spring that they started talking on a regular basis. One night after the Northside versus Southside basketball game, Brooklyn needed a ride home from the game, so Stetson offered to drive her home. On this night, they drove around town while listening to music, but eventually ended up sitting in Brooklyn's driveway and talked for hours. Since Brooklyn did not have a car, Stetson continued to drive her home from school, and the two eventually started hanging out almost every day of the week.

In April of 2018, Stetson asked Brooklyn to be his girlfriend on a gum wrapper in a Walmart parking lot.
