What time does the ceremony start?
4:00pm but it is recommended for guests to arrive closer to 3:00pm. Once ceremony starts, if you are late, the venue will keep you downstairs until ceremony is over.

What are the accommodations for traveling guests?
There are so many options downtown, but we booked a block of rooms at Trumbull and Porter Hotel, which their rate is good until 7/4 or all rooms in the block are booked. Please see the travel page for a booking link. We only selected one hotel with decent pricing but you certainly have the choice to find something else you’re comfortable with and in your price range. The venue recommends The Foundation Hotel, Shinola Hotel, Greektown Casino, Motor City Casino, The Siren Hotel, to name a few!
Are kids (under 12) allowed?
Due to there being a heavy amount of alcohol, we kindly suggest getting a babysitter so the adults can have fun!
Is the venue handicap accessible?
The wedding will take place on the second floor. This is a fully operational distillery. There is a service elevator that can be used if needed by a Whiskey Factory staff member for those needing accommodations. For other guests there are stairs to get to the ceremony space.
When should I RSVP by?
May 26th!
What attire?
We do ask that attire be semi-formal, but black tie gowns and tuxedos are not necessary! A nice button up, sundress, and dress shoes will do! Please no sweatpants, tennis shoes, shorts, or other casual wear.
Is it a cash bar?
No! We cover that expense but if you want to bring a little something to tip your bartenders I’m sure they would appreciate that!
