This may not be our first marriage but it will certainly be our last! After eight years of camping, biking, hiking, kayaking, firepits, hot tubs, festivals, yard work, and exploring; we have decided to celebrate our joy in finding our “person” with the folks that have been here for us.

We are incredibly lucky to have found each other…
who else is willing to bike 100 miles (the last 40 in the rain), drop a kayak in local waters, wake at dawn for a sunset, tent camp in ALL weather, take nightly rambling strolls through wherever we are (dragging downed limbs of trees for our fires), listen to our caterwauling form of singing (extends to the Grateful Dead and John Denver but NOT Zappa!), search out venues to watch Arsenal and Penn State, busting crazy dance moves, AND walk DC through snow days, mayhem, and events.

Long before we were “Georges”, we met thanks to Pop Pop’s chicken scratched and highlighted newspaper clippings which led to a spur-of-the-moment visit to the Taste of Reston and an evening spent sitting on a curb people-watching. Thats when we got to know each other and realize there was true chemistry. We chatted and chuckled like we had known each other forever. As we began to date and spend more time together, we realized that we got each other. Truly knowing we were meant to be after Suzanne took off to parts unknown and couldn’t stop returning to NOVA (certainly not back for the traffic!!). Also knowing we want to explore this earth together, outside in our way, forever.

We are both so grateful to find our person in each other and cannot wait to see what our future holds for us.

Is that future a tent, pop up, or someday a proper camper?! Wait and see….
