Our Story

In the summer of 2020, on the tailwind of the pandemic, Steve and Alexis first met through the magic of online dating in the Windy City. It was a strange time for both as they struggled with personal and private battles in a world that seemed to be falling apart at the seams. Nevertheless, they gave it a chance and immediately connected, began dating, and formed a friendship. They enjoyed singing musicals in the park, watching Drag Race (mostly Alexis), ordering food on Friday nights, and traveling whenever they could.&nbsp; Over the next several years, many wonderful things happened as their love continued to grow. Those things included family holidays, making pasteles (Steve has graduated to folding them), birthdays, graduations, moving in together, completing a doctoral degree, and adopting their pride and joy. Through all these moments, Steve and Alexis have built their life together, marked by joy, laughter, patience, and, most importantly, love, faith, and God’s blessings. They still live and work in Chicago in the Andersonville neighborhood. They have each other, their love, and their small family is completed with their boy Luca Mateo (Louise Alabaster Alabitious De Todos Los Santos y Borbón Marie…). Together, they will continue to write another chapter in their life story. In front of friends and family, they will commit to each other and declare their love to the world. Through the grace of God, they will continue their journey on this Earth, ensuring they never forget the love that brought them together, the dreams that they have for the future, and they will forever be grateful for those who have supported them along the way. Nuestra Historia

En el verano de 2020, en medio de los vientos de la pandemia, Steve y Alexis se conocieron gracias a la magia de las citas en línea en la Ciudad de los Vientos. Fue una época extraña para ambos, ya que lidiaban con batallas personales y privadas en un mundo que parecía desmoronarse. Sin embargo, se dieron una oportunidad y conectaron de inmediato, empezaron a salir y a forjar su amistad. Disfrutaban cantando musicales en el parque, viendo Drag Race (sobre todo Alexis), pidiendo comida los viernes por la noche y viajando cuando podían. Durante los siguientes años, sucedieron muchas cosas maravillosas a medida que su amor seguía creciendo. Entre ellas, se encontraban las fiestas familiares, la preparación de pasteles (Steve ya se graduó a doblarlos), cumpleaños, graduaciones, mudarse juntos, completar un doctorado y adoptar su orgullo y alegría. A lo largo de todos estos momentos, Steve y Alexis han construido su vida juntos con alegría, risas, paciencia, pero, sobre todo, con amor, fe y la bendición de Dios. Aún viven y trabajan en Chicago, en el barrio de Andersonville. Se tienen el uno al otro, tienen su amor, y su pequeña familia se está completa con su hijo Luca Mateo (Louise Alabaster Alabitious De Todos Los Santos y Borbón Marie…).&nbsp; Juntos, seguirán escribiendo un nuevo capítulo de sus vidas. Frente a sus amigos y familiares, se comprometerán y declararán al mundo su amor.
