Autumn and I met through a mutual friend Rylee Bowers. It took me a few attempts to get Autumn to agree to go on a date. Rylee is her hairdresser and Autumn had a fear she would lose her hair dresser if things didn't work out. Our first date was January 21st at Copal. I was very nervous as she was so beautiful. I fumbled my way through dinner awkwardly. Luckily Autumn suggested we go get a drink. We went to Blue Chip for a few drinks and I loosened up and Autumn got a chance to meet a less nervous version of me. I know it's cliché, but the rest was really history. By the third date we were pretty inseparable, and I knew Autumn and I had a beautiful future in store. We have enjoyed concerts, weddings, and getting to meet each others friends and families. I bought a ring in mid June and then debated on when was the right time. It was important for me to have the blessing of her son Dylan, and her Grandma Margie. I received those in late July. On August 4th I told her I was craving Mexican and asked her if we could go to Copal. We arrived and the table that we sat at that first night was open. From there we went home to relax and watch some TV. Autumn's little bestie Ellis Wiegel face timed us and she popped the question for me. As Ellis was asking Autumn if she would marry me, I got down on a knee and asked my best friend what she thought about forever. We are excited to get married, and especially excited to get to share that day with our favorite people.
