In May of 2020, Steve relocated to Harrisburg, PA from Morgantown, WV while working for JCPenney. Shortly after moving to the area, a friend of Ethan's happened to connect with Steve, welcoming him to the area and inviting him to his weekly virtual movie night, which Ethan also attended. During a movie night group Facetime chat that summer, Ethan caught Steve's eye. As social gatherings became the norm again in the fall, the movie night began to meet in person. Steve attended regularly in the hopes Ethan would be there. Finally, on October 2nd, Ethan showed up to the movie night, where he and Steve banter and hit it off. The next day Steve texted Ethan and asked to go out for a drink sometime.

On October 8, Steve and Ethan met at Annie Baileys, then followed up for a more relaxed environment at Tellus 360 rooftop in downtown Lancaster. Later that month, on October 29, Steve and Ethan had an official first date at the Conway Social Club.

As the months passed in late 2020 and early 2021, Steve and Ethan continued getting to know each other through local activities such as trivia nights, exploring downtown, and catching up at friends' houses.

In April of 2021, Steve and Ethan took their first trip together, to Miami, Florida, where Steve learned just how much Ethan's body can tell the difference between 50spf and 30spf. This would be the first of several mishaps where Ethan was burned due to Steve's negligence/free spirit.

In June of that year, Steve hosted a Pride party at his house in Harrisburg, with Ethan and a few close friends in attendance. In the early morning hours of June 6th, they decided it was time to officially become exclusive.

Steve and Ethan spent a lot of time together that summer, including a trip to Nashville, TN with Ethan’s family. Later that year, they combined households in Lancaster where they currently reside.

Over the next two years, their love for one another grew as they hosted parties, went to family and work events, and discovered their love of traveling together.

In August of 2023, the couple traveled to Ireland, where they got engaged on Ireland's westernmost point. That brings us to the current season, where Steve and Ethan eagerly anticipate sharing the celebration of their wedding with family and friends!
