Steven & Elizabeth met in high school their sophomore year, only being 15 years old no one imagined they would end up here today. They started dating November 26th, 2010. They met in food's class at Thunder Ridge High School.

After receiving a promise ring at White Fence Farms in April of 2012, Steven took Elizabeth back to the same location in April of 2015 to propose. Dinner was Fantastic, Fried Chicken galore, with a fun and relaxed environment. Steven & Elizabeth walked the store and after dinner bought homemade fudge for dessert. When it was time to leave, Steven surprised Elizabeth by walking her down to a lighted Gazebo when after heartfelt words and a few tears (from the soon to be bride, of course!), Steven got down on one knee and said those famous words "Elizabeth Brianne Whitecotton, Will you marry me?" Elizabeth with a lot of tears of joy gave her answer, obviously a yes! (if not we wouldn't be having a wedding).
