Steven and Vanessa's first date, in the summer of 2021, was at Indeed Brewery in Minneapolis where they revisit on their anniversary. While dating long distance their first year together, they still managed to see each other almost every weekend. Their time together was spent watching movies, spending time outdoors, visiting their favorite local spots and watching all things Minnesota sports! They quickly got to know each other this way easily and naturally.

In the summer of 2022, Vanessa decided to make the leap and move up to the cities.

Some of their favorite memories together have been getting to know family and friends, traveling, finding new restaurants and spending time at the Lake Koronis cabin.

They have been fortunate enough to travel together often! Namely; Los Angeles, Sarasota, Naples, Reno, Memphis and Cancun!

Days after celebrating their 2nd anniversary, Steven decided to pop the big question with just the two of them at Hyland Lake in Bloomington. They got to celebrate with a lot of the people they love throughout the week!
