Steven & Cristina first met at a wedding in Mexico! (Shoutout to Taylor & Hallie Walls) They were both in the bridal party and stayed up almost all night in the hotel lobby talking. They shared an instant connection, telling stories of their Florida State memories and their love for family. After returning to their lives in Key West and Tampa, they each kept thinking about that night in Mexico and wondered if the other felt the same.

Fast forward seven months, Cristina would be traveling down to Key West with her family for mini lobster season. After lots of convincing from friends & family, Cristina finally worked up the courage and sent Steven a message on Instagram letting him know she would be in town. Of course he replied almost instantly ;) They met up at a party later that week and both recognized the connection they felt in Mexico was still there.

For the next year, Steven & Cristina would do long distance, going back and forth to see each other as much as they could until Steven moved to Tampa. The couple has been inseperable ever since, traveling the world & building a life together. On July 4th 2023, in front of both of their families, Steven asked Cristina to marry him and she said yes (duh!)

They are so excited for this next chapter & can't wait to celebrate with their favorite people!!!
