Well, we met while working at the lovely Bentwater Yacht & Country Club. Victor was the one that brought Nick in to work with us. I remember listening to him tell stories to everyone, like his "terrifying" dentist story, and wondering if he had a girlfriend. Victor was my friend too and with his help Nick and I got to talking and started dating September 6th, 2016.

Nick was in the Houston Police Academy and on May 17th, 2018 my family and I headed to his graduation from the Academy. At the end of the ceremony we were taking pictures and Nick saw a beautiful little garden in the middle of the building we were in. Nick asked me to come take pictures with him in the middle of this little grassy part with everyone standing around with their phones out taking pictures of us. THAT'S WHEN HE DID IT. I was so surprised he choose to do it on that day. I could not think of a more special time/moment to ask me to marry him.

For the wedding we wanted to have it scheduled far enough ahead for money reasons and just so we have plenty of time to plan and not get stressed out. Boy am I happy we did that! We are so excited for this day and cannot wait to share it with each and every one of you! Hope to see you there!
