While we love your kids, our wedding weekend is going to be a kid free weekend. We look forward to seeing your kids another time and hope you will enjoy a kid free weekend with us.

We are thrilled to celebrate our wedding day with you and want the day to be as easy as possible, which is why we are providing transportation to and from the venue from several locations! Linville Falls Lodge: Depart 3:45 PM Return 9:00 PM, 10:00 PM & 11:00 PM The Pineola Depart 4:00 PM - Multiple shuttles beginning at 4:00 PM Return 9:00 PM, 10:00 PM & 11:00 PM Eseeola Lodge Depart 4:00 PM Return 9:00 PM, 10:00 PM & 11:00 PM Shuttles will be available for return trips throughout the evening. Please communicate with our on-site planning team if you need a ride. If you wish to leave before the end of the night, please do so prior to 10:30 as all shuttles will need to be available for guests following the bride & groom’s departure. We strongly encourage you to use the shuttle. If you must drive, please be safe. Don’t drink & drive! Also, note that no vehicles will be permitted to enter the site of the Camp at Eseeola during the actual ceremony (5:00 – 5:30 PM).

Our hope is that all our family and friends will come Friday and stay the whole weekend to celebrate! We have a low-cost hotel/camping option in hopes of making that possible for folks. Additionally, almost all the meals are provided the whole weekend. More specifics below!

Our wedding is technically a destination wedding, so we are having a party on Friday night to welcome everyone from out of town! Yes, that even includes folks from Boone & Asheville :) The welcome party begins at 8:30 PM and will end around 10:30 PM. There will be music, beer, wine, and lite snacks (charcuterie & desserts). We recommend eating a snack or lite dinner beforehand!

The short answer is it's up to you! Check out our "Travel & Accommodations" section for links to the websites. Our hope is that everyone will stay at The Pineola or Eseeola Lodge (around Linville). We have blocked hotel rooms at the Eseeola Lodge and hotel rooms, cabins, and camping at the Pineola. This is a very POPULAR area of NC, so booking your accommodations early will be important. If you would like transportation on Saturday we recommend staying at one of the two. If you are excited about hanging out close to friends all weekend. The Linville Lodge is also a great option! Please read the "Travel & Accommodations" page for specifics!

Transportation is provided both ways from The Pineola and The Eseeola Lodge (and likely the Linville Lodge, depending on where people end up with reservations). Our ceremony will begin at 5:00 PM at "The Camp". Our reception will begin with a cocktail hour immediately after the ceremony in the same place. We will be providing shuttles to the ceremony starting at 4:00 PM (ish) from The Pineola and Eseeola Lodge. Our hope is that folks will utilize the shuttles instead of driving after drinking. There will be shuttles running all night so you can leave when you've been partied out! There are NO Ubers or Lyfts in the area so please plan accordingly.

It's up to you! We hope folks will dress up in what makes you feel like a million bucks! Below are some suggestions for each event, take it or leave it! :) All of our events are outside, so we recommend picking clothing and shoes that will be comfortable outside. It's normal in June in western NC for the temps to be cooler in the evenings, so bring a jacket or sweater. AKA Leave the stiletto heels at home! Welcome Party - Casual! - Khaki pants/jeans and a button up/collard shirt - casual sun dress or jumpsuit Wedding Ceremony & Reception - Formal(ish) - Suits - Sun dresses or Jumpsuits - It's the start of summer! We hope folks will wear fun colors and patterns! Farewell Brunch - Casual! - Feel free to show up in what your traveling home in! Our hope is to hand out some goodbye hugs and provide a meal before our friends and family travel home.
