Stone and Emma met at PATH, a local homeschool group, in winter of 2022. After senior banquets, trips, and graduation activities, the two started to feel like friends. Stone left that summer to work at camp Patmos on Kelley's Island, but they started to think about each other more. After Emma's pastor went to Patmos and told Stone that Emma said "hello", they started to text off and on.

After a could months of random texts, Stone started to text more often, asking about her day and her weekly plans (which she staunchly refused to believe was a sign that he liked her). After a test run of inviting Emma to a local Bible study, Stone decided to take the plunge, and asked Emma on a date... the rest is pretty much history.

After seeing each other through several long distance periods for Stone's school and work, as well as through Emma's college years, the two are so excited for all the time they'll get to spend together in the next phase of their relationship!
