We met on Hinge and officially started dating. Our very first date was at the Montana State High School Volleyball Tournament — a perfect start that blended sports and fate.

We rang in our first New Year’s Eve together and took our first family photo with our dogs, Mony and Junie.

Jake made the move to Billings to live with Stormy, taking the next big step in building our life together.

Our first trip together took us to Denver, Colorado. Jake surprised Stormy with Shania Twain tickets for her birthday, and Stormy surprised Jake with tickets to watch the Nuggets take on the Lakers.

Stormy moved to Dickinson, North Dakota to begin her new role as Head Volleyball Coach at Dickinson State University. Jake remained in Billings, cheering her on from afar.

Jake joined Stormy in Dickinson, North Dakota, starting his new position as Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach at Dickinson State University. Together again — and officially a DSU coaching duo.

Completed their first year at Dickinson State University as coaches. The highlight of the year: Jake’s team winning the North Star Athletic Conference Tournament.

Jake proposed on the Fourth of July in the most beautiful and sentimental way — a day we will never forget.
