Can I RSVP online or do I have to mail in an RSVP card?
We'll be including a stamped return envelope with your formal invitation. Please use that to mail back your RSVP!
What's the address of the ceremony and reception? Is it wheelchair accessible?
Both the ceremony and reception will be held at the Peabody Essex Museum, East India Square, 161 Essex Street, Salem, MA 01970.
Please use the East Marine Hall entrance for the ceremony and, yes! Everything is wheelchair accessible!
What is the easiest way to get to and from the Peabody Essex Museum?
The Peabody Essex is located in the heart of Salem's historic district. If you're staying in downtown Salem, the PEM will be in walking distance! If you're staying outside of downtown Salem, Uber or Lyft will be your best bet.
If you are driving, there is a parking garage on New Liberty Street directly across from the PEM ($1.50/hour). In addition, there is a municipal parking lot on St. Peter Street and a smaller garage on Derby Street, at the corner of Hawthorne Blvd.
What time should I arrive to the ceremony? What's the evening schedule?
Please arrive between 6p -6:20p and use the East India Marine Hall entrance. The ceremony will start at 6:30p on the second floor of the Hall, both stairs and elevator will be available to you.
Following the ceremony, we'll be moving to cocktail hour in the Garden Atrium from 7p-8p, followed by the reception in the Main Atrium from 8p-12a.
There is a bit of walking between each location, but all spaces are fully wheelchair accessible!
Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?
The ceremony and reception will be indoors. Pending weather, the outdoor garden will be open during cocktail hour!
What is the dress code for your wedding?
Your finest cocktail attire!
Am I allowed to bring a plus one?
We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. Thank you for understanding!
Are children invited?
Although we adore your children, we have decided to make our big day an adults-only event.
What type of food will be served at your wedding?
We'll be serving hors d'oeuvres during cocktail hour followed by a sit-down dinner with a choice of entree. Please note any dietary restrictions on your RSVP.
Will there be an open bar?
