Airport Information

There are three main airports that you'll want to consider when traveling for our wedding. For domestic travelers, Fort Lauderdale (FLL) and Miami (MIA) will offer the largest variety of flight options and pricing. For international travelers, Miami (MIA) is the airport you'll want to fly in and out of. Lastly, Key West Airport (EYW) is another option for those traveling from major domestic airports (DFW, LGA, BOS, PHL, etc.) However, keep in mind that EYW is 2 hours from Dream Bay, so make sure to plan accordingly.

Travel to and from the airport

There are a few options for your transportation to and from the airport: 1.&nbsp;Rent a car&nbsp;from FLL, MIA, or Key West airport, depending on where you're flying into2.&nbsp;Uber&nbsp;from FLL, MIA, or Key West airport, depending on where you're flying into3. Islamorada Limo&nbsp;and&nbsp;Limopedia&nbsp;are great options to book a private shuttle Lastly, there is a 1.5-hour, public,&nbsp;Greyhound Florida Keys Shuttle&nbsp;that can take guests from MIA airport to Key Largo, and vice versa. The shuttle picks up at MIA at 5 am and 11 am. The shuttle picks up in Key Largo at 12:40 pm and 7:40 pm. Link to book and for FAQ: https://www.greyhound.com/bus-routes/miami-fl-key-largo-fl Please note: it is very common for there to be traffic between Miami and The Florida Keys so please plan your travel accordingly!

Wedding Day Transportation

We will not be offering transportation between hotels and Dream Bay Resort.

Local Transportation Options

Many resorts and hotels in Key Largo provide complimentary shuttle service within a 5-mile radius—be sure to check with your property. Freebee,&nbsp;Lyft&nbsp;and&nbsp;Uber&nbsp;are strongly recommended forms of transportation while exploring Key Largo.

Parking Information

Please note that there is very limited parking at Dream Bay Resort, so we kindly ask that guests do not drive to the wedding. We recommend using hotel shuttles, ride-share services like Uber or Freebee, or arranging transportation in advance. Most Key Largo hotels offer complimentary shuttles within a 5-mile radius—be sure to check with your property.

Key Largo is full of exciting activities! We've curated the below list to help you enjoy every moment of your trip.

In Key Largo

Outdoor Activities For snorkeling and diving experiences, check out John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park. Or, book a snorkeling trip through Viator to explore multiple locations in one day. Book a Tiki Boat Ride for a 1.5 hour cruise around the waters of the Keys - in true Floridian style! Set off on a Key Largo Fishing Charter for deep sea fishing and a chance to catch Mahi-mahi, Tuna, Wahoo, Sailfish, Marlin, and Kingfish! Dining For a wider variety of dining experience, my recommendation is to take a 20-minute drive to Islamorada for unmatched food experiences. BUT if you are planning to stay within a 20 minute radius, I would suggest the below: - Marker88- The Fish House- The Buzzard's Roost- Key Largo Conch House

Islamorada

Just 20-30 minutes south of Key Largo, you'll find Islamorada. Known for its incredible dining, fishing, and laid-back island charm, we highly recommend taking the drive, even if just for dinner! Outdoor Activities Robbie's Marina: Feed the tarpon and explore the local shops; great spot for casual fun. Theater of the Sea: Marine mammal shows, dolphin and sea lion encounters, and snorkeling adventures Sportfishing:&nbsp;Islamorada is known as the “Sportfishing Capital of the World”—charter a boat for a half-day or full-day adventure. Dining Cafe Moka: The cutest breakfast spot in Islamorada! Great for fresh coffee, pastries, and of course their acai bowls. Pierre's Restaurant: Perfect for those looking for an upscale dining experience with a perfect view of the bay. Kaiyo Grill: Because we MUST have sushi! Ziggie &amp; Mad Dog's: A legendary Islamorada steakhouse, Ziggie &amp; Mad Dog’s pairs old-school Keys charm with an upscale, intimate atmosphere. Known for its perfectly cooked steaks, fresh seafood, and iconic martinis, it’s a true local favorite for a special night out. Lorelei Restaurant and Cabana Bar: Our favorite reasonably priced lunch spot right on the water! Florida Keys Brewing Company: Located in the Morada Way Arts District, this microbrewery is such a fun spot to immerse in the true Florida Keys culture! Grab a beer (or two) and play some outdoor games in their beer garden. Islamorada Brewery &amp; Distillery: Food trucks, outdoor games, and more! Order a Sandbar Sunday (Kirby's favorite) or an Islamorada Ale (Nathan's favorite). Accomodations Cheeca Lodge &amp; Spa Islander Resort

Key West

Vibrant, colorful, and full of character, Key West is the southernmost point of the continental U.S. Explore historic streets, lively nightlife, and world-famous sunsets. Outdoor Activities Start your day with a tour of the Ernest Hemingway Home &amp; Museum! Next, wander through lush tropical gardens, marvel at cascading waterfalls, and immerse yourself in the tranquil beauty of the Key West Butterfly &amp; Nature Conservatory - a perfect escape for nature enthusiasts and photographers alike. Make sure to stop by the Southernmost Point Buoy, which marks the very southernmost point of the continental United States! You might have to wait in line for a photo opportunity, but totally worth it! My favorite, and an absolute must while in Key West, is to watch the sun go down on the Sunset Pier. It gets busy, so make sure to snag a seat early, have a cocktail, and watch in awe as the sun sets over the water. If you're feeling up for a night on the town, stop by Sloppy Joes or the Green Parrot for live music and dancing. Or just take a walk down Duval - there's something for everyone! Dining Blue Heaven: For Key Lime Pie!! Santiago's Bodega: Tapas and sangria in a romantic yet relaxed atmosphere. Hot Tin Roof Restaurant: For a nice dinner still located on the bustling Duval Street, enjoy Latin American-style small plates on an open-aired patio. Latitudes: Located off the coast of Key West on a private island, Sunset Key, this dining experience will be once in a lifetime! Better Than Sex: For a unique experience, head over to one of the only dessert-based restaurants, where you can order entire entrees of chocolate!
