Vinny & Summer first met in nursing school, but they weren’t in the same class so they just saw each other in passing. Summer shared her notes with Vinnie during one class, but that was the extent that things went. 3 years later, Summer popped up on Vinnie’s “People you may know” on Facebook and he decided to message her to see how she was doing.

That message turned into a 5 hour phone call and FaceTime and the rest is history!

Their first date was breakfast at Sophia’s and the nickname “pancakes” was given to Vinnie by Summer and her co-workers with the intent on keeping things private for as long as possible.

Very quickly Summer & Vinnie realized that they had something special and couldn’t deny it.

One year later, Vinnie got down on one knee at The Rose Gardens in Delaware Park and proposed. Summer says it was the easiest “Yes” she ever said.

Their plans were never to have a big wedding, but they wanted to be able to celebrate their happiness with their friends and family. Eloping and having a private ceremony and having an “After Party” reception just made sense for them!
