Hi there! We’re Summer and Elijah, and we’re so excited to share the story of how we met and fell in love.

It all began in the fall of 2020 at Liberty University. We were both students at the time and living in the same dorm, but our paths didn’t cross in any major way until a fateful night when we found ourselves playing a casual card game with friends. It was one of those moments where everything just clicked. Elijah had this easygoing way about him, and Summer couldn’t help but enjoy his sense of humor and laid-back charm.

What started as a friendly connection quickly turned into a solid friendship. For over a year, we had an active friendship where we both learned to appreciate more about the other. It was clear that we had something special, and though neither of us was rushing into anything, we cherished the bond we were building.

Fast forward to October 23, 2021, a day that will forever hold a special place in our hearts. After months of growing closer, we finally realized we wanted to take our friendship to the next level. We officially started dating on that day, and from there, everything just felt so right. Over the next two years, we experienced so many joys together—adventures, travels, quiet nights in, and countless laughs. Our relationship has been full of growth, love, and support, and we couldn't be more grateful for the bond we share.

Then, in August 2024, Elijah took me (Summer) by complete surprise. We were on a family trip to Switzerland (one of my favorite places in the world), and during one of our scenic excursions, Elijah proposed! It was such a beautiful moment—completely unexpected, but more perfect than I could have ever imagined. It was a day that will forever be etched in our hearts as the start of the next chapter in our love story.

Now, we’re eagerly looking ahead to the future and preparing for our wedding on July 10, 2025! We couldn’t be more thrilled to spend the rest of our lives together, surrounded by our family and friends, as we start this new adventure as husband and wife.
