Seth and Summer’s love story starts like many modern romances; with a phone, a dating app, due diligence, and honestly… judging a book by its cover. And what an amazing book it is turning out to be.

Chapter 1- Dating

Even though 25 miles and a river lay between them, on April 9th 2022 Seth made the journey from Vancouver to Beaverton for their first date. After dinner, lively conversation and arcade games, the evening ended with a simple goodbye hug. With a dead phone and a keen sense of direction Seth headed back across the Columbia.

From the late evening calls and frequent over the river commutes Seth and Summer’s relationship grew and they knew that they had found something special. Underneath the pristine dating app ‘covers’ they discovered a soul they wanted to love.

Chapter 2- He said it First

On a warm August evening Seth uttered the phrase “I love you”. Due to the evening’s cocktail indulgence, Summer wanted to ensure Seth’s words weren’t made in haste and told him that tomorrow would be the day for such proclamations. The first words Seth spoke to her the next day were “Summer, I love you!”

From there they continued to build a lasting bond through various adventures. They remained hand-in-hand through the pathways of Disneyland and streets of New York. Side-by-side, they experience the splendor of live theater from The Nutcracker to Moulin Rouge. They created a home filled with weekend morning breakfasts, record player melodies and evening chai martinis. Within this hectic world, Seth and Summer found peace within each other’s arms and joy in the littlest of moments.

Chapter 3- On One Knee

On May 11th, 2024 Seth insisted that Summer wear her white sundress. With only the slightest suspicions, Summer set out for drinks with a friend and returned home to a new chapter. Walking along a path of rose petals and twinkling light, Seth stood waiting to share his heart forever. Seth got on one knee…. and she said yes.

Chapter 4- Wedding Day

This coming September, surrounded by those who have supported their love story, Seth and Summer will say I do. They have chosen to live life alongside each another and tackle the world as one. This wedding will celebrate the journey they have walked up until this point and the commitment there after.

Even though the cover of this love story may wither and fade, the memories within will forever be precious and ongoing. For this love story, as one would say, is…….
