What are the addresses of the wedding ceremony and reception venues?

Both the ceremony and reception will be held at Wild Goose Farm in Shepherdstown, WV. The address is: 2935 Shepherd Grade Rd Shepherdstown, WV 25443 United States

Is there parking available near your wedding venue?

Yes, there is plenty of parking onsite.

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors, but the reception will be indoors. We will plan to have an indoor ceremony and cocktail hour if the weather isn't cooperating.

Is the venue wheelchair accessible?

There are no stairs for the reception area, but there is a small walkway to go down to the bathroom. We will likely rent a golf cart to help people get to the site of the ceremony from parking, as needed.

Have you reserved blocks of rooms at one or more hotels?

Yes, please check out the travel tab for hotel options and hotel block information.

What is the dress code for your wedding?

Formal. Please wear button downs, dress pants, dresses, or similar. No shorts, t-shirts, gym attire, etc.-- This generally goes without saying, but just to be safe! Check out our Pinterest board here for ideas of what attire is acceptable: https://pin.it/1VhRmFDsU

What is the weather like in the area?

Generally, in October, the weather is sunny and between 55-65 degrees. However, this can vary a lot-- it may be colder or hotter, especially with climate change in recent years. Please check the weather a few days before leaving for the wedding to be safe. We also recommend bringing a jacket for the evening.

Am I allowed to bring a plus one and/or my children?

Please only bring those addressed on the invitation. If your kids are included, your invitation will say "[Name] & Family." If you have a plus one, your invitation will say "[NAME] & [Guest Name]" or "[Name] +1." If your invitation does not say this, please note that we have not accounted for a plus one or your kids in our planning. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate all guests' children or plus ones, as our guest list is limited.

Where should we bring/send our wedding gift?

We will have a table for cards and gifts at the wedding for anyone bringing a gift/card with them to the event. If you are mailing a gift/card, please mail it to: 2712 Newton St. Silver Spring, Maryland 20902

Please arrive at 3:30 pm so that you can make your way down to the ceremony site from the parking area, find a seat, and be settled for the ceremony to start.
