Those familiar with this love story may find themselves thinking one thing: it’s about time! More than eleven years ago, Tripp met the girl of his dreams and somehow managed to pull this thing off. It all started when they met in biology class, but who could have predicted that chemistry is what they would find. Summer, the demure freshman who was comfortably out of Tripp’s league wasn’t prepared to be swept off of her feet, but luckily, Tripp’s undeserved air of confidence guided him to her lab table. Self-assured, he approached her with a surefire plan. Tripp gestured to Summer’s feet. “Your shoes are untied,” he said, but alas, she was wearing slip-ons with no laces to be found. She was understandably unfazed, more confused than amused. Miraculously, this was the beginning of a successful attempt at courtship. Later that week, when Summer joined the color guard and came to her first marching band practice, Tripp watched in awe across the field. He leaned over to his buddy in the drumline, and with another undeserved burst of confidence, he said, “I’m going to date her.”

Now, more than a decade later, we want you to be a part of our story by celebrating with us. Cherished friends and family, you’ve been there with us throughout it all: high school, rival colleges, too much marching band, nursing school, a masters program, and now this — the culmination of all of this precious time together. It’s finally happening! Wedding planning is beautiful and terrible, so let’s have a good time.
