Danny and I met in college at Bowling Green State University. During the summer of 2015, I asked Danny if he could make me a painting for my room. We became friends after realizing that we had a lot in common, especially with our very similar music interests and love for music festivals. We started dating in October 2015.

We had a long distance relationship for two years while I finished my Bachelor's degree at Bowling Green and my Master's degree at Michigan State University. We moved in together in 2019 and currently live around the Cleveland area.

We started doing monthly surprise date days together in 2020: Danny or I would plan an entire day filled with activities for us to do together and the other person would not know what the plans were, they simply had to be ready to go along for the ride. Examples of things we have done include bike rides, walks, going to museums, checking out local events, drinking at new breweries/wineries/coffee shops, and eating tons of good food.

The best surprise day in August of 2021 turned into a surprise birthday weekend trip that Danny planned. We stayed at Bock's Juke Joint Airbnb in Amherst, Ohio while we explored the area. We painted a canvas together, had a couples massage in the Airbnb, went kayaking, checked out the shops in Vermillion, ate the best food at Chez Francois, drank some wine at Vermillion Valley Winery, and most importantly...Danny proposed to me on a morning walk in front of a waterfall! Of course, I said yes! Later that weekend we arrived home to a surprise birthday/engagement party with my best friends. Truly, the best weekend.

We are so excited for our wedding day and can't wait to celebrate with all of you!
