Paddle board rentals are super easy & there are multiple places to rent on the lake.

Lake Austin has tons of boat rentals including party boats! It's gorgeous and 10 minutes from downtown Austin.

Food Trucks - Food trucks are huge here! This is a must!

Rainey Street - street of old houses that have been revamped into bars! Fun day or night but definitely the best day bars in the city.

East Side - fun & eclectic spots. Highly recommend!

Austin's infamous 6th street is really broken into 3 sections of bars. All are very popular, different, and fun in their own ways! Multiple bars in each section but the sections are NOT walking distance from each other.

East 6th - elevated dive bar vibes, can be chill but is also super fun

West 6th - larger bars, more clubby vibes but not where you have to buy a table to have fun

Dirty 6th - downtown, called dirty 6th for a reason, younger population, still lowkey a staple

Cute park with great view of Lady Bird Lake & the city. Some beautiful walking trails & botanical gardens! Located on the south side of Lady Bird, downtown is on the north side.
