A shortened story.

Summer and Paul were individually settling into their new town of Wilmington, North Carolina. Paul had moved from Raleigh and Summer from, well, wherever her anchor had previously dropped. They both lived close to the local watering hole/beach volleyball venue, Capt’ Bills backyard. Summer’s roommate at the time, was playing volleyball with Paul.

Summer was in a very hot and cold relationship before Paul. During one of the cold spells, her roomie Onnika told her not to worry if this was a real break up, there are many more nice guys, including a very sweet, fun guy, she played volleyball with. Summer and Paul eventually met and Paul noticed she was a free spirit and had the most beautiful eyes. They became friends, and with the Volleyball group, they all enjoyed hanging out together for bar crawls, concerts, bonfires, BBQ's, beach meet-ups, boat days, etc.! Summer and Paul finally had a one-on-one conversation where Paul got the chance to ask…”Do you have any single girlfriends you can introduce me to??” Summer whipped out her phone and started showing pictures and describing each one of them. A few weeks later, Summer and her (ex) boyfriend along with Paul and Summer’s friend, all went out on double date together!

Months past, relationships fizzled and Paul heard Summer was single. He had a wedding to go to, with no current date, so he invited Summer. The two of them went for a fun wedding weekend in Raleigh and realized that they have a hilariously fun time together!

At the end of the summer, the two of them finally agreed to try a “more than friends "type of relationship!

As you know now, Paul and Summer will be forever wedding dates starting with their own in April 2024!
