It all started with a tequila shot.

Back in July 2020, Summer and William’s paths crossed in Lexington, Kentucky at the bar Tin Roof. Summer was out with friends, enjoying a warm summer night, when a server appeared with a surprise tequila shot—courtesy of a charming stranger across the room. That stranger, of course, was William.

One drink turned into a conversation, and that conversation turned into something neither of them expected: the beginning of forever.

After months of getting to know each other, laughter-filled dates, and plenty more memories, William asked Summer to be his girlfriend on a beautiful day in St. Pete Beach on May 23, 2021. That spot became special to them both—and now, it will become the place where they say “I do.”

On May 23, 2026, exactly five years after that beachside "yes," Summer and William will start their next chapter together as husband and wife, back where it all began.
