Four score and ten years ago, in the basement of the one and only Bar Commune, two souls were set to meet, thanks to their mutual friend, Tori Manix. Drawn together by their shared love for a good time, Susan and Jared found themselves dancing together after a few shots of Fireball and a not-so-subtle push from Tori. Little did they know they had just found their lifelong dance partner.

After a few exchanged texts and Susan hearing Jared's long-winded claim that you could "point and shoot" to any song ever created, Susan took it upon herself to challenge him and prove him wrong. It was clear that they had both met someone who matched their unique quirks and playful spirit. Naturally, Jared wasted no time asking Susan out, only waiting a few weeks.

Their first official date was nothing short of spectacular. They attended a Dillon Francis show at the Royal Music Theater, where the electronic beats were the perfect backdrop for their blossoming connection. The night was a whirlwind of dancing, shared smiles, and the realization that they had found something truly special in each other.

Dillon Francis was just the first of many concerts, shows, and festivals the two attended together. From pulsating beats at music festivals to intimate live performances, music became a cornerstone of their relationship. Fast forward to September 2023 on a trip to Flagstaff Arizona for the Ursa Major music festival, curated by none other than Griz (their favorite artist). Beginning the trip with a scenic hike through stunning mountain landscapes, he proposed with the help of Susan’s best friend, Brittany. The setting was as serene and magical as their relationship. The festival's vibrant energy mirrored the excitement and joy, making it a perfect celebration of their love and commitment. The weekend was a perfect prelude to the beginning of the rest of their lives.
