Chandler and Susannah’s paths first crossed in Washington, D.C. in November 2023, just one day after Susannah’s 25th birthday. Fun fact: her dad had always joked that she wasn’t allowed to date until she turned 25! From the very beginning, they connected over their shared faith, southern roots, and a mutual love of sweet treats. Since that first date, they have enjoyed many memorable experiences, from a donut tour and day trips to historic battlefields, to celebrating Christmases in Tennessee and South Carolina, and browsing the shelves of three different McKay’s Used Books locations. After Chandler planned the bestest engagement ever at Homestead Gardens, they are excited to start their next chapter together, surrounded by beloved friends and family from Tennessee, South Carolina, Georgia, D.C., and beyond.

It's Chandler and Susannah's wedding. We couldn't NOT recommend a local donut shop, and Fox's is one of the best in town! Try the apple fritter and say hello to Mr. Fox.

Walk down Main Street, grab a coffee at Frothy Monkey, have some BBQ at Puckett's, try the sandwiches at Merridee's, and explore two Civil War homes (the Carter House and the Carton Plantation). You can't go wrong spending a day in Franklin!

Before you begin your wander through historic Downtown Franklin, we suggest you check out one of the best shopping centers in Middle Tennessee. If you're there on a Saturday, explore the Farmer's Market and stop into Five Daughters for a donut!
