December 26, 2018: Joe sent an instagram direct message to Suzanne which read, "Hey, sorry to be kinda forward but I think you're really cute and wondered if I could get your snapchat?" Suzanne agreed, thinking her snapchat conversation with Joe would last a day or two. Little did she know that an instagram message and snapchat conversation with a random boy would lead to a relationship, let alone marriage...

January 16, 2019: After returning to South Carolina for our second semester of college, we decided to meet up at the University of South Carolina student union. We chatted over sandwiches, and Joe raved about his love for Godzilla for at least twenty minutes. After dinner, Joe walked Suzanne back to her freshman dorm, and kissed her goodnight. Suzanne was not interested in a second date, but her mom convinced her to give Joe a second chance.

January 25, 2019: Joe decided to take Suzanne on a more formal dinner date. We walked from campus to Hickory Tavern and laughed and talked for hours. Two days later, Joe asked Suzanne to officially be his girlfriend.

January 27, 2019: The official start of our journey together. At the time, we were just two college kids dating to see what we wanted in a partner. As time passed, we fell in love slowly.

Our relationship started out as friends and then turned into best friends. After awhile, it turned into love. We matured together, cried together, laughed together, survived a pandemic together, brought out the best in each other, and grew closer. Five years later, and the rest is history!

We can't wait to begin our beautiful, crazy life as husband and wife.
