A shy kid from Delaware. An outgoing girl from San Diego. For the first 24 years of their lives, it seemed like a long shot they would ever even meet.Then Chuck started a job as an intern in the Monmouth University Athletics department in 2015.Not long after, Suzi was ready for a change after working as a news reporter in Montana. In August of 2016, she descended upon West Long Branch, New Jersey, and moved into a cubicle across the room from Chuck. After months of small talk about their shared love of space, Chuck decided to step up his game. He knew what had to be done.At a Monmouth soccer game one night, he approached Suzi with his phone in hand."My family just got a new puppy, want to see a picture?"That picture eventually earned Chuck the chance to take Suzi out for a first date. It was almost the last date, however, after a "miscommunication" resulted in a late pick up for dinner. Some sources say Chuck was 10 minutes late. Some say it was an hour and a half. Either way, Suzi was ready to call it quits. Against all odds, a chocolate covered strawberry order from Edible Arrangements the next day changed the course of history, and Suzi decided to give Chuck another chance.Since then, Chuck and Suzi have been inseparable, except for that time a global pandemic forced them to be long distance for a couple of years.Throughout the last nine years together, they have made incredible memories, including but not limited to hanging out with their cat Lenny Bruce, going Instagram official at the San Diego Zoo, fist pumping at Jersey Shore bars, Christmas trips in New York City, dressing up as Seth and Evan from Superbad for Halloween, birthday dinners at Chili's, trips to Hawai'i, Disneyland, Yosemite National Park, watching the Eagles win the Super Bowl (twice), and getting engaged in dreamy Carmel-By-The-Sea, California.They decided they liked these memories so much that they want them to continue. Forever.And now they are inviting their closest family and friends to commemorate that decision. All thanks to Chuck's dog Kenzie and Edible Arrangements.

Our Story

Kathleen, oh boy, this one is tough.  Kathleen is Suzi’s older sister. She is Suzi’s heart and soul. There is nothing better than having a sister. Suzi feels so lucky to have had Kathleen by her side through it all. Suzi’s is convinced her purpose in life is to make Kathleen laugh. Kathleen knows Suzi will do and believe whatever she says and Kathleen takes complete advantage of this fact for her own enjoyment. Like the time Kathleen convinced Suzi to memorize every word to “Who Let The Dogs Out” on their annual roadtrip to Montana. Or the time she told Suzi to do a headspin and Suzi nearly snapped her neck. Kathleen’s favorite thing to do is scare Suzi, something she and Chuck have in common. But this started at a very young age. Sometimes jumpscares, sometimes manipulation. When she was 7 years old, Kathleen convince Suzi that she wasn’t her sister, but in fact Suzi’s great great great grandmother sent back to earth to keep an eye on Suzi. Suzi spent the next 8+ years believing her sister was a ghost grandma, but somehow totally okay with it. Kathleen was always the gold standard to Suzi. Suzi always wanted to be like Kathleen, but rarely did it work out that way...Kathleen played baseball? Suzi had to play baseball. Kathleen made all-stars; Suzi was throwning the ball straight into the ground and taking baseballs right off the dome. Kathleen took Suzi under her wing in high school and then again in college. Anytime Suzi spends with Kathleen is the best day of Suzi’s life. And its the cherry on top when their Mom is with them too. Suzi watched Kathleen become a mom a few years ago and has felt a sense of respect she never knew was possible. Kathleen and her husband Joe (groomsman) have two littles, Cole (ring bearer and spiderman) and Jules (flower girl and little baby nugget.)

Angelica was Suzi’s cousin and one of her best friends. Angelica was Suzi’s beautiful exotic cousin from France, she would brag about to her friends at school. Although she lived oceans away, Suzi and Angelica kept a strong bond. Suzi was always so excited when Angelica came to visit. As kids they used to dream of living in LA together. That dream came true in 2019 when they both landed on the west coast. They spent all their free time together bonding over cute brunch spots, their cats and Angelica’s hunt for a california surfer she could make her husband. Suzi and Angelica’s bond grew stronger when Suzi was diagnosed with lupus and Angelica with lung cancer not too long after. They swapped endless ER stories and treatment traumas. They had deep conversations about the purpose of life. They continued to dream big together with plans of buying homes nextdoor to eachother so their future kids could grow up together. Sadly, we lost Angelica in 2023. It is without question that she will be walking alongside Suzi in heart and spirit on the big day so it only makes sense to honor her here as well.

Ronnie is Chuck’s sister.  Suzi “met” Ronnie for the first time via snapchat on Chuck’s phone before Suzi and Chuck started dating. It was Halloween (some people know how that night went..) and Suzi and Ronnie discovered they were AXO “sisters.” Their bond was instantly solidified, secret handshake and all. The first time they met in real life, Chuck was bringing Suzi home to meet his family. Their mom Margie was unaware of Suzi’s shellfish allergy and had made shrimp for dinner. Suzi was quickly locked in Chuck’s childhood bedroom (yes, with the Eagles wallpaper) and Ronnie locked herself in with her to keep her company. Suzi knew right then, she was alright. Later that evening, Ronnie, Chuck and Suzi went to grab drinks with some friends at an Irish Pub. Ronnie bought Suzi a Yuengling and Suzi instantly dropped the beer on the ground and shattered the glass. Suzi is thankful Ronnie gave her a few more chances to make a better impression than she did on day one. Ronnie is the sole person on this planet who gets to say that Chuck is “mean.” Chuck would torture Ronnie constantly as kids. Chuck would pin Ronnie down and dangle spit over her face until she screamed. You know, typical big bro stuff. The two are a unified front though, especially when it comes to Suzi. The bond Chuck and Ronnie share is strong and Suzi happily takes on the role of the butt of the jokes when they three are together. Suzi looks forward to many years of the two laughing at, i mean, with her.

Corina is Suzi’s longest friendship. Their lives were intertwined since they were 3 years old. They met at the Pony Fields in Fallbrook as little ones. Very quickly our hardworking mom’s realized sharing childcare was a pretty sweet deal. Suzi’s mom would drop her off at Corina’s house where they would enjoy eating mayonaise sandwiches and speaking completely in spanish, thanks to their amazing babysitter Sandra. (Suzi has since lost 100% of her spanish.) From a very young age, Suzi and Corina were always interested in things bigger than themselves… like hustling their middle school classmates into buying floral hairpins they made in Corina’s bedroom. The school shut that down very fast. Corina has always been the reason Suzi knew what was “cool.” Corina taught Suzi how to do her makeup, how to straighten her hair and what the “cry baby” was…she was always ahead of the game. Ballet was very central in their friendship. One of Suzi’s fondest memories of her life was getting to perform as Clara in the Nutcracker, the best part, Corina got to play her punk little brother Fritz. Dream team. The two of them were late to every single rehearsal, without fail, because they would spend the first 15 minutes of class eating coldstone in the dressing room. And somehow they how didn’t understand how their ballet teacher Miss Jackie could call them fat...

Delaney and Suzi exist in every dimension. There is no world where the other doesn’t exist. Delaney and Suzi grew up together - although Delaney didn’t do much “growing”…Delaney may be Suzi’s shortest friend, but they have the longest standing memories. These two have been through every phase of life together. Carpooling to soccer practice listening to Prince while eating costco chicken bakes… (Her mom Gina never quite understood that Suzi was 10x the size of Delaney and needed the whole chicken bake…) Delaney loves to laugh and Suzi loves to make Delaney laugh, a match made in heaven. Sports were always very central in their lives. They achieved many great things in sports together - like the time Suzi kicked herself in the head when doing the worm at soccer practice. Or that time their basketball coach told Suzi he would leave them all at practice if she did another cart wheel…i bet you can all guess what happened next. All while Delaney would squeal with laughter…worth it. From exploring Yellowstone National Park to dancing their way through an Elton John concert at Dodgers Stadium, Delaney and Suzi have been on many grand adventures together. Suzi knows there’s many years ahead of them filled with more opportunites to kick herself in the head.

Dont even try to swing away on the roof that was Suzi and Danielle. These two DOMINIATED the volleyball court together in travel volleyball in high school (Suzi an outside hitter and Danielle a middle blocker.) Danielle insists Suzi was her setter which is absolutely incorrect, Suzi has never been a setter in her life…let it be known. Once Suzi and Danielle met, Danielle was instantly  “IN” with Suzi’s high school friends and their lives blended together immediatley. Danielle and Suzi found each other again in their “adult” lives when they both made their way to LA because they are badass hardworking women. Danielle is Suzi’s "guaranteed-good-time" friend. These two have no free time since they are constantly taking the working world by the balls, yet they manage to find time for eacother for in-depth discussions of Gilmore Girls. They are constantly aiming high. These two have maybe too much confidence, specifically in the crafting department. They truly believe they can do anything. (and they’re right) If you are looking for them, guarantee you will find them at the nearest flea market where Danielle is trying to talk Suzi out of buying yet another pair of overalls or the  Renaissance Faire in their overpriced elf ears eating Turkey legs and drinking mead.

Samirah and Suzi were college roomates at TCU. They found eachother in a swarm of sorority girls they didn’t understand or connect with. Their joint love for sports and little ceasars $5 pizzas got them through the trying times of college life. Hours spent together at Lupton Stadium proved a friendship worth buying alcohol with a fake ID for. Once Suzi and Samirah found eachother, they didn’t really need more than that in college…until Samirah met her now husband Dylan. Their first date cut short when Suzi had a little too much to drink and needed saving…Suzi made up for it with an outback steakhouse giftcard and never drinking tequila again. (Until corinas wedding…………….)

Nicole and Suzi have been friends since the beginning of time. From First Communion to the Don Dornan Games, Nicole and Suzi always managed to find themselves intertwined. Suzi always says, Nicole is the type of friend who would help you hide the body. Suzi and Nicole used to play endlessly at Nicole's house growing up and Suzi’s interest in the paranormal world originated at Nicole’s parents house when they INSISTED they saw the head of a doll turning with them as they squeeled and ran down the halls. Suzi also changed Nicoles life when she gifted her the famous Genie in a Bottle CD at her 9th birthday party. Suzi’s other Bridesmaids Delaney and Julie have been a girls group from middle school on. The endless summer nights spent rushing through Fallbrook playing comando, toilet papering homes and ice blocking on golf courses with all their friends are memories Suzi holds so close to her heart.

Alyssa and Suzi found eachother as the starlets of Helena, Montana. They were local TV enemies but fast friends. Suzi and Alyssa ran that town with their high heels, thick brows and boxed wine they snuck into the only nightclub in town (The Toe.) Some of Suzi’s fondest young adult memories have come from this phase of life with Alyssa. Memories in which she looks back with a smile and absolutely ZERO plans of EVER revisiting. Suzi was a bad influence on Alyssa and Alyssa somehow an even worse influence on Suzi. From cozy nights in singing Disney songs to bailing friends out of jail, Suzi and Alyssa found eachother exactly when they needed to.

Julie and Suzi met in middle school when they both had the same shoes - black and white sambas. Julie was the new girl from Washington. Suzi, being the all-around-good-egg that she is, decided to take her under her wing and show her the ropes of Sullivan Middle School. The wide-eyed beautiful blonde Julie stuck with Suzi ever since. They were inseperable. Those high school nights spent at the Cramers house eating pounds of ice cream and making movies are some of Suzi's favorites to revisit. Suzi discovered her talent for piercing ears and shaving heads at Julie’s house (among many other random shinanigans their group of friends found themselves in.) Julie’s adventurous spirit and eagerness for fun taught Suzi so much about life and friendship and she will always be grateful for all that precious time spent with her.

Lauren is Suzi’s sister-in-law (Joey’s Wife). Suzi remembers meeting Lauren for the first time ever at Pizza Port in OB, after Joey and Lauren wrapped up an adult league softball game. Suzi could tell Joey liked Lauren…it was so obvious! But they weren’t dating yet. Suzi was excited because Lauren was cool and so pretty. Lauren and Suzi became quick friends bonding over cute baby animals, antique home decor and Tim Robinson. Suzi is forever grateful for the time Joey and Lauren spent getting to know Chuck when he lived in San Diego. They welcomed him into their home every Wednesday for Survivor nights and helped develop his taste palate beyond his fave Chickie Tendies. Joey and Lauren’s daughter is Frankie (flower girl and winner of the best baby teeth contest.)

Erin is Suzi’s sister-in-law (Chris’s Wife). Suzi still rememebers the day her brother Chris told her he was going to marry Erin. It was their white coat ceremony, he points at Erin and says “that girl right there, I’m going to marry her, she just doesn’t know it yet.” And thank goodness he was right! He brought the most badass woman into our family. They gave Suzi the most important job shes ever had - being an Auntie. Living just down the freeway, Erin and Chris’s home was a safe space for Suzi to land when she moved to Los Angeles. Suzi has always been so grateful for Erin’s generosity and can always count on Erin being the other one crying in every movie they watch. Suzi will always cherish the facetime call after she got engaged to Chuck. Erin’s excitement asking about all the details made Suzi feel so giddy and special. Chris and Erin’s kids are Ben (Ring Bearer & Seating Chart officianodo) Abby (Flower Girl and Official Party Starter) and Parker (Ring Bearer and Dizzy Bat Champion.)

Sammy and Suzi have been best friends for nearly 15 years. They were roommates when interning for the Cape Cod Baseball League. Sammy drove Suzi around for two whole summers against his will. They spent many summer nights at Eldridge park and playing beer pong with future MLB Hall of Famers. One big reason Suzi and Sammy get along so well is because they immediately revert to 10 year olds whenever they are around eachother. On The Cape, Suzi introduced Sammy to the delicacy that is sourdough toast and he has never been the same. Suzi is always so proud of how Sammy goes after what he wants with such convicition. Some of you may recognize Sammy’s voice from the Padres pre & postgame shows or from his viral trending audio “And with that…”
