The Stone Cottage on the Hotel Du Village property has 7 Queen bedrooms with private baths, a kitchen and living room. This could be ideal for a number of families and friends who would be comfortable housing together. You can book this directly with the hotel manager, stay@hotelduvillage.com

This is New Hope, a quaint, historic town in Buck’s County, PA, on the Delaware River. It’s a great place to explore because of the many things to do there, which is why it was named one of “America’s Favorite Towns” by Travel + Leisure and USA Today.

THINGS TO DO Around New Hope

Bucks County Playhouse is located on the site of a former grist mill on the banks of the Delaware River, 90 minutes from New York City in New Hope, Pennsylvania. The original structure was built in 1790 when owner Benjamin Parry rebuilt the Hope Mills, which had recently burned down. The newly christened New Hope Mills inspired the village to change its name from Coryell’s Ferry to New Hope.

Bucks County Playhouse

The Friends of the Delaware Canal is an independent, non-profit organization working to restore, preserve, and improve the Delaware Canal and its surroundings. Our primary goals are to ensure the Canal is fully-watered from Easton to Bristol and the towpath trail is usable over its entire length. A wealth of recreational options await including hiking, biking, boating, fishing, horseback riding, nature watching, cross country skiing and ice skating.

We offer private tours any time of the year, contingent upon the availability of a tour guide. Private tours are a great idea for a birthday party, bachelor/bachelorette party, employee team-building events, meet-up groups, family get-togethers, etc. We require a minimum of 7 people for a private tour* and the cost is $15 per person. In 1981, she decided to take her love of the paranormal one step further and founded <a href="http://www.ghosttoursofnewhope.com/index.html" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">The Ghosts Tours of New Hope</a>, and we have been going strong ever since! The lantern-led tour will take you through the streets of New Hope, where you will make several stops to hear true stories of hauntings throughout the town. The tour lasts one hour and covers approximately 1 mile of the town. The cost is $15 a person, cash only. We recommend wearing comfortable walking shoes. The tour will take place in light rain, however we reserve the right to cancel the tour for severe weather, such as thunderstorms, snow or heavy downpours.
