Sydnee moved to Arizona from California&nbsp;and continued to attend&nbsp;Crossfit&nbsp;at Camelback Crossfit.&nbsp;She had been in Arizona about three months.&nbsp;&nbsp;Jordan, a Minnesota native, had&nbsp;been&nbsp;in Arizona roughly four&nbsp;years,&nbsp;was also a member of this gym. Sydnee had seen him here and there working out with his group of guys.&nbsp;

Sydnee worked at lululemon during this time. Jordan, being an avid lululemon shopper, came in to lululemon many times&nbsp;to shop. Sydnee happened to be his cashier that day,&nbsp;and asked, "You go to Camelback Crossfit right?" Jordan then replied, "I&nbsp;do. Do you?"&nbsp;Sydnee was a little taken aback by this because she had seen him around and coulnd't&nbsp;believe he didn't notice her! Jordan said his goodbyes after some short conversation.&nbsp;





The next time Sydnee was at the gym, Jordan was there, cheering her on through the workout. After the workout, Sydnee asked Jordan for a business card, which he replied, "I&nbsp;don't have any on me right now, but put your number in my phone and I'll text you the information." Ironically,&nbsp;Sydnee did not get a text for quite some time!













Fast forward to Camelback Crossfit's holiday party a few weeks later. Sydnee's friends kept saying, "The guy in the green sweater hasn't stopped staring at you tonight." Mind you, this is a holiday party and this sweater&nbsp;was green&nbsp;with Jesus on it that said, "It's my birthday."&nbsp;This would be Jordan. Sydnee&nbsp;told her&nbsp;friends, "That is the guy I was telling you about!"&nbsp;













Jordan and Sydnee ended up spending the rest of the evening together with friends out in Old Town Scottsdale where Jordan declared, "I&nbsp;like you!" and Sydnee replied with, "I like you too!" :)&nbsp;The next morning, Jordan text Sydnee and asked her on a proper date... The rest is history!&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;

How it all Began!

It seems that Jordan has had this planned for quite some time for Sydnee.&nbsp;

Sydnee and Jordan decided that their&nbsp;big trip this year would be to Puerto Vallarta for a friend's wedding, followed by San Jose Cabo to see Sydnee's parents. Sydnee's mother&nbsp;and step-dad are natives to San Jose Cabo, and Sydnee's father and step-mom have a timeshare in Cabo San Lucas. Apparently, this worked out perfectly for Jordan!&nbsp;





Jordan planned a great trip from start to end. After our stay in Puerto Vallarta and Punta Mita, Sydnee and Jordan headed to Cabo for Thanksgiving with family. The first leg of the Cabo trip was spent with Sydnee's father and step-mom is Cabo San Lucas. As Jordan tells it, he was waiting for the perfect moment to ask Sydnee's father for permission for her hand in marriage. Unfortunately, the first day of golfing and the second day on Thanksgiving&nbsp;did not bring any alone time for Jordan and Don.&nbsp;Finally, on the third day, Sydnee got up to use the restroom and Jordan had his last chance moment! This was key to asking her to marry him later&nbsp;that evening!&nbsp;&nbsp;





Back in San Jose Cabo&nbsp;Sydnee, Jordan, Sydnee's mother, and step-dad were getting ready&nbsp;to catch the sunset at the One&Only Palmilla.&nbsp;Jordan had planned the proposal at One&Only for months. Sydnee was tired from our&nbsp;long day at the beach, and it took some last minute convincing from Jordan that we HAD to hurry to catch the sunset.&nbsp;While Sydnee was getting ready, Jordan was with Sydnee's mother getting the ring that Jordan and Carmen had been planning for months! Apparently, it was made in Fresno (Sydnee's hometown) where Jordan and the jeweler had been in contact to create the ring that Sydnee dreamed of!&nbsp;





We decided on drinks before dinner while we caught the sunset at the beautiful One&Only . Carmen had a box, which she told Sydnee were,&nbsp;"cupcakes to celebrate Jordan's late&nbsp;birthday." After some champagne and small talk, Carmen slid the box over to Jordan and told Jordan, "open your gift Jordan. We wanted to do something for your birthday." Jordan opened the box slowly and inside was a white cake (gluten free!) with the writing, "Marry Me". Before Sydnee could look up, Jordan was on one knee and asking Sydnee to stand up. Jordan said, "Sydnee, you know I love you more than anything and I want to spend my life with you. Will you marry me?" Of course, we wouldn't be here if&nbsp;Sydnee said anything, but a BIG&nbsp;"YES!" :)&nbsp;

Located on the beach in San Jose Bay, this hotel is all about surf and relaxation!&nbsp;Learn how to surf with the Mike Doyle Surf School and check out the spa after. This is a 10 min to the venue.
