Our Wedding

Jack and Sydney's story is a twist of fate, starting long before they ever met. Born in the same Houston hospital just six months apart, both have family roots in the Delta, but grew up 700 miles away from each other. Their journey truly began during Sydney’s senior year at Ole Miss. One day, while picking up some spirits for the weekend at Magnolia Liquor, she found herself unable to remember the password to her checking account app — very typical college student behavior! With no idea how much money was on her card, she joked with Jack that if it didn’t go through, she’d just put the bottle back. Jack told her he wouldn’t let that happen and would pay for it himself. From that moment on, they seemed to be inseparable. After graduation, Jack and Sydney moved to Austin, where they’ve spent the past three years building a life together. They enjoy simple pleasures—walking, cooking, and traveling—and love exploring the city they now call home. Their connection has only grown stronger over the years, and they’re excited to continue their journey together, side by side.
