It is hard to believe our story started in 2016. We met through Jonathan's father, Chris, during the summer semester at North Georgia Technical College. Jonathan will be the first to admit, he was too shy to ask me for my number. I had to make the first move when I asked him if he wanted to go bowling. Bowling, however, was not our first date. We went to a judgement house and grabbed dinner at a local Italian restaurant. If that is not a first date for the books, I do not know what is!

Over the years, we dated on and off but always seemed to be present for major life events. Some events being exciting, and some not so exciting. However, we have always been each others friend and support system.

The spark was rekindled at the beginning of 2023. Since then, we have been inseparable and growing into "adults" together. We took our first vacation together to Savannah, GA in August 2023. Little did I know, Jonathan got his cousin Aubrey in on a "surprise" photo shoot where he proposed. I was so surprised, even though he said he was dropping hints even 1-2 weeks beforehand. I told him when I am not at work, my brain is shut down to analyzing small details, haha.

Now for the stressful but exciting time of planning a wedding. We cannot wait to celebrate with each and every one of you next year on October 12th, 2024.
