Mini golf, driving range, ice cream, and cows! Doesn't get much better than that.
A fun spot located in downtown Salem. Grab a few beers then walk around and learn about witches!
Reeeallllyyy good cookies!
If you're on or near the North Shore, it is a must to "spin the beach." Sydney grew up in Manchester-by-the-Sea, a beautiful coastal town! It has a great downtown to walk around, grab lunch at Bravo Pizza, and the beach is just a short walk from downtown. If you plan on going on the beach, there is a fee ($10 dollars per person) to get on and you will have to find non-resident parking in the downtown area, usually in or around Masconomo Park.
A fun little spot to walk around! You can check out the pier, The Clam Shack, the arcade, or just hang around and enjoy the nice views.
This is one of our favorite spots! A great place to have a nice picnic, throw some frisbee, check out the farm animals, and hang out. There may be a small fee of 2-4 dollars to enter the park.
Boston isn't too far! You could either take a 30-45 min drive (depending on traffic) into the city or use the MBTA Commuter Rail. You would have to drive about 15-20 min to the nearest station, either Salem or Beverly, and then it is about a 30 min ride into North Station. There is, of course, plenty to do in the city! We especially love the North End!!
Former home of General George S. Patton Jr. and his son George S. Patton IV.
In 2012, the Patton Family gifted the 28 acre parcel and historic home to The Town of Hamilton. The Patton Homestead was home to the Patton family starting in 1928, and it was notably home to the great General George S. Patton Jr. (1885 – 1945), the commander who had led the Third Army to victory in World War II, and his son, Major General George S. Patton (1923-2004) along with his wife Joanne Holbrook Patton (1931- 2023).
