It all started with a swipe in 2021 that led to the question "If money didn't matter what would your dream job be?" Sydney posed the question and Mitch bet that he could guess her answer right and if he didn't he would owe her chips and guac. Of course Mitch got it wrong which lead to our first date at Ampersand in the heart of Kips Bay. From day dates in Brooklyn, to long walks all around Manhattan, to eating all the rainbow cookies we could find we realized this was the real deal.

On April 15th, 2023 Mitch told Sydney they were going to brunch to celebrate her birthday and Mitch suggested a walk in Central Park beforehand. Sydney did not suspect a thing because it was something they loved to do being new Upper East siders. On that walk Mitch asked Sydney the infamous question to marry him to which she happily shouted yes!
