Sydney and Andrew met in 2014 at Kellam High School, both in the same math and gym classes. The two quickly became good friends over the year and even started working at the same Italian restaurant, Primo Pizzeria!

Over the 2 years they spent together at Primo and in the same math classes, they started to crush on each other. The two were always laughing and getting in trouble with their teacher for interrupting class. Eventually, they started to hang out. Their favorite thing to do was go for long drives through Pungo after a busy Friday night at Primo. Sydney quickly fell for Andrew but had no idea Andrew was doing the same.

On January 5th, 2017, Andrew asked Sydney to be his girlfriend in the driveway of Sydney's home. Sydney, of course, said yes and the two have been inseparable since. Sydney even remembers going inside to tell her Mom that she and Andrew have upgraded to girlfriend and boyfriend! In the almost decade the two have been together, they have been through some of life's lessons together and have been each other's biggest fans.

After 8 years of dating, Andrew decided to finally pop the question. Poor Andrew was a nervous wreck on that beautiful July day. He took Sydney to dinner at their favorite restaurant and then said he wanted to go down to Sandbridge Beach, just as they did when they lived over that way. Sydney wanted to go home and see her pup, Oakley, but somehow Andrew convinced her to go. On the way down, Sydney had the idea to go to Back Bay Wildlife Refuge, where Andrew had his best man, Noah, already set up and ready to take pictures of the moment. Sydney got out of the car and started making her way towards the trail they used to frequent often. Little did she know, their families were all waiting for the call that it had finally happened! As Sydney was looking out over the water, Andrew got on one knee and asked her to marry him. Of course, Sydney cried and said yes. They made their way back to the truck, called everyone they loved, and celebrated with all their friends that night!

Sydney and Andrew love their little life they're building with their pup, Oakley. They are so excited to tie the knot and to share this special day with everyone they know and love.
